Do not believe the one star reviews. While I will not really give the movie five stars, and I think the concerns about the characters being one sided are valid, it does not merit the one star. I think it is a pretty straightforward dark comedy movie. It focuses on this personification of an artist who has perceived the total disregard of his art and has become totally jaded. In effect, he decides to create one final masterpiece and then destroy all its remnants in the end. A solid movie, worth your time.
