Very, very well done. This film does what all documentaries ought to do by presenting information as factually as possible while drawing previously unseen connections between the individual, historical, social and cultural forces that help explain the phenomenon in question (in this case, OJ Simpson, his illustrious football career, and his later-life trials for the brutal murders committed on his property.) Whatever you believe, I think everyone can agree OJ has lived an uncommon, incredibly eventful life. His story is interesting as hell. And like the story of another exemplary black sports star - Tiger Woods - his is a cautionary tale about where we can go (as human beings) after we've reached the apex of our abilities/career; after we've achieved all our goals. At some point, after we've attained all we've set out to do, there's nowhere left to go but down. If we don't remain humble, grounded, and connected to the Universe and others, any of us could wind up in OJ's shoes.
