This was the worst book I have ever read, the main character (Ari) was such a pick me, and on top of that him and his love interest weren’t even a couple by the end! There wasn’t a good plot line, majority of the other characters sucked and had no real purpose to the book. I hated the ending as well, it was almost as if there was something missing but got cut off, due to writers block or something stupid like that. Also near the end of the book, when Ari and his love interest were talking things out, they just started to have a full on make out session out of no where, even though a few pages ago THAT LOVE INTEREST said they didn’t even like Ari! There was no real arousal or tension and the make out session ended VERY QUICKLY due to a fire starting and that OBVIOUSLY burnt down the bakery. The icing on the cake to this book is that the author skips months ahead and makes them have the SAME CONVERSATION only that the roles are reversed! DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK, the illustrations are good but it just a waste of your time honestly.
