The show, as always is in the hands of the editors. They can manipulate the contestants actions to suit their agenda. They can make someone shine whilst another is left in the background. They can make someone appear miserable whilst another can always seem cheerful and happy. This has an affect on how people vote, so ultimately, it is the producers of the show who decide who wins in the end. So fake and contrived.
