I loved the mysteries, the relationships, the complex characters, the sweet Sapphic romance, the in-depth & intricate worldbuilding. The magic systems are subtle & very different from what I've read before. This novel is such a wonderful introduction to a vast world of the author's creation. This is a breath of fresh air. Every detail has meaning. There are so many promises of things to come. I can't wait!
