Tremendous film giving a graphic commentary on the fear racism envelopes if you are part of a minority community in America. With racist armed police condemning members of the African American community due to their colour. You really feel for lead characters on their journey.

Daniel Craig gets as far away from James Bond as he possibly could playing the character Benoit Blanc. Blanc is a private detective brought into investigate the circumstances of a presumed suicide. Playing the character in the voice of a PI from the deep south Craigs comic timing is excellent. The cast of characters and actors playing them is first class making for a very entertaining movie. The plot is the basic who dunnit, with an amusing twist the principle suspect cannot lie. When she does lie she vomits.

Having read a few reviews I decided a trip to cinema was required. A couple of reviewers commented on it being slow paced. It was a long film at over two hours but the pacing worked well. Introducing characters and developing the plot leaving you wonder where it might be going. The acting is first class, cinematography is excellent and if you love classic American cars they feature in abundant.
