I've never given a rating to a 2K game before, but I've loved every installment since 2K19. Unfortunately, I can no longer enjoy this one. While I still maintain an 80% win rate, the gameplay has become boring. The dribbling feels slow and uninspiring, and the steal mechanics are frustrating—defenders seem to leap 8 feet in a split second to snag the ball. The game promotes a style of play that rewards selfish, backdown tactics, which makes it feel less like basketball. 2K, you need to do better. This is the weakest entry in the series so far.
