Clare Gabriel

Like others, I had read reviews saying there was very little chemistry between the lead actors, but for me this was a complete irrelevance. In fact their seeming differences - her apparent dryness and his deep passion - gave great poignancy to the wishes she makes and to where the story finally goes. The stories he tells I found thoroughly enchanting, especially with the very magical sets and costumes. I highly recommend this film.
