So the whaling ship gets stuck in the ice for an insurance fraud. Half the crew are saved by another ship. The poor old surgeon eventually makes his way home. The shipping agent who orchestrated the fraud now wants the poor old surgeon dead as " he is the only survivor and could spill the beans" WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER HALF OF THE CREW THAT WERE RESCUED ???
