One of Ridley Scott's outstanding films is the Duelist, made in the 1970's. It has the essence and feel of the Napoleonic Period. Napoleon sadly didn't. For any film goer who knows nothing of the Napoleonic Period, the battles the characters then they may enjoy it. For people who have studied this period of history they possibly won't.
