Visited a Barnes and Nobles during Spring Break of 2024 in search of a book for someone else. As I walked past the section where this book was located in a promoted shelf, it was hard to locate the book I was in search for with someone else. We scanned up and down, left and right and could not find. The Barnes and Nobles that we went to had a second floor in which we climbed after not finding the book in the area we had searched where it should have initially placed. As we climbed the second floor, I came into direct access to Devil in the White City" by Erik Larson (the book was being promoted right next to where the escalator met the second floor). I mention this because I was assigned this book in freshman year of highschool in 2012 of which many things involving dark forces started to manifest in my home affecting my family and I. So I grabbed the book and gave it quick skim read only to notice the back cover stating " Spellbinding Book" in which only made the full circle experience even more of a testament to different forms of paranormal activity happening. Even after years of research and diving deeper into the works of surrealism and the subconscious, especially in relation to the manifestations of the human psychi in forms of invisible forces or powers (I suggest watching "The Quiet Ones" first 5-10 minutes where the subconscious is questioned as for supernatural phenomena in relation to possession and abnormal behaviors / abnormal psychology.) Anyways, as I skimmed I began to get an eerie sensation all around me, I even began to channel some things, in which I was taking note of in live transmission as it happened, (Recorded on a Sound Cloud playlist of which I channeled songs I hadn't heard before from the year 2012 which confirmed some form of opened portal as a result of reading Devil in the White City then. It was after the sensation of danger in the atmosphere that we decided to go back downstairs where we had initially looked. As we walked downstairs and I was typing what was happening live, I paused to finish what I was writing right next to the shelf where this book "The Power" was about 4 feet from me. As I concluded my live transmission, I suddenly see a book being thrown right in front of me. Since I had only seen it through my peripheral view and I was still typing I wasn't surprised or alarmed. There was a young man standing across from me that had seen what had happened, so when I finished typing, I asked him, "Did you see if someone threw the book over the shelf or did it just fly off?" in which he nervously responded, "Yeeeeahhhh, it just flew off the shelf. So yeah, you're not crazy I saw it too." As he stated that I added what had just then happened and left the book on the floor not wanting to touch it right then, but the guy must've felt uncomfortable that I didn't pick it up and so he did. This must've been captured by the CCTV cameras in the establishment. I write about this thoroughly, considering it was definitely a spring break spooky highlight for us and how ironically, it matched the "The Power" in context. I haven't read "The Power" but I have certainly experienced it.
