I loved the original but I hate Chris's new voice actor. I'm sure dude worked hard on this but I can't even watch it with someone else voicing Chris. Doesn't sound right.

I was looking for other people's thoughts on this movie to see if I was the only one who found it boring as all hell. The art style is striking, and I enjoy the soundtrack that reminds me of persona 5. Conceptually it's an intriguing story, but it's just so bland. Like it's missing an essential piece that would give it the life it so desperately needs. Despite how emotional it should be, from start to finish the one thing that was blatantly lacking, was emotion. I actually watched an hour of it before I realized it wasn't a show, but a movie, which means the speed of the plot progression was completely off. It was somehow moving both too slowly and moving too quickly from scene to scene! I wanted to enjoy this much more than I did, and I think it would have done better as a story instead of an animated movie.
