Veilguard only transfers three plot points from Inquisition. Fans: What??! Bioware: Ohh wait.. Since this is our "return to form", we won't let ya make Rook (Veilguard Player Character) do bad things in the game. Cuz we might trigger some people. Fans: Huhhhhh?! We evaluated our strategy to make the game more mainstreamed. So we made all the dialogues and the story to be more millennial/MCU-like, we avoided all the dark themes from the older games, we censored all the legacy characters, and we added irl identity politics.
