Originally I would give it a zero or negative (but only a one) due to the lack of cheat codes, but I started trying it out recently, and it really changed my perspective for the better. I bought this game on the day of its release, knowing that I'm a huge fan of Saints Row. Despite the lack of cheat codes, which is the only personal disadvantage, I gave it a five instead as it was surprisingly easy and my character being unlikely to get killed off (thanks to my cautious game play and instincts, coupled with some tweaks in the options menu). When I restart either one of the recent checkpoints or the entire mission itself, the overall mission does not fail, which is a major plus. Another major advantage is the no stats. With the stats, it makes me just a tad nervous and takes away all the fun. With that being said, the no-stats is no problem. That way I won't have to worry about seeing that impact my gaming and enjoying that game. Also thanks to all the recent updates before even getting started playing that game, I really had some great fun---and I still am. Of course if it wasn't for all the much-needed updates, I wouldn't be able to play at all. The developers say the encourage the gamers to give this game a chance, I gave it a chance these past few days, and it was worth it. It was definitely worth it as they try to use the updates to make it better. No matter what the critics and gamers are saying, I'm glad I gave this game a chance, and surprisingly it did not disappoint like I originally thought. Cheers.
