Hideous. When will we stop being voyeurs of the victimization of damaged females by equally damaged young men (a la Fifty Shades, Twilight, and Game of Thrones)? This is not poignant, classic, or normal ... it’s gratuitous and misogynistic ... and it’s what brings patients into my psychotherapy practice.
