GOAT (2024) Review – A Sci-Fi Disaster with Daddy Issues
Rating: 0.5/10
GOAT, starring Thalapathy Vijay, is the cinematic equivalent of a dumpster fire rolling downhill. In space. The plot is a confusing mess about an AI apocalypse, but instead of focusing on that, it forces us to watch Vijay try to bond with his bratty son, who spends 90% of the movie whining. Emotional depth? Zero. Chemistry? Nonexistent. It’s like watching two robots malfunction in slow motion.
The action? Vijay fights terrible CGI robots while defying every law of physics. Imagine your drunk uncle at a wedding trying to breakdance. That’s the vibe. Then there’s the "Spark" song – a random, ear-bleeding disaster about... electric feelings? It plays in the middle of a chase scene, because why not ruin everything at once?
In short, GOAT is sci-fi trash with daddy issues and chavar music. Yuvan Shankar Raja is crap and the only person with a perfect daddy and no daddy issues. I think this film plot should be his life plot.
Save your brain cells from this dumpster-fire trash cinema.
