Warning: spoilers
Tears of the Kingdom isn't perfect, its amazing but not perfect,
Its gameplay is perfect, there is a lot to do- a lot of fun side quests, u can make a lot of cool machines, its amazing.
My only problem with it is its story, Now the story isn't bad, it just could have been better, i have played every 3d zelda except skyward sword, and from my pov, its story was good, but short and a bit flawed compared to older titles in the series such as ocarina of time or majora's mask,
the thing is that it felt as if the player knows more story than link despite the fact that link experiences the story/ the geoglyphs alongside you, he doesn't share the story to any other npc, example: the fact that link knows that theres a fake zelda on the loose controlled by ganondorf but link still barely warns/tells others about it, and they could have easily fixed this, and the story itself could have been longer and better paced with more character development, an example would be the ancient, they barely have any character other than telling their descendants about imprisoning war after u beat each dungeon, and although i think rauru and sonia and zelda's relationship was well made, i think it could have been longer and better, and i also think ganondorf could have been a lot better and cooler, without a doubt this ganondorf design wise looks the best, and he had so much potential, however nintendo decided to make him one dimensional and flat, they could have shown ganondorf's history someway about how he ruled and give him more character development, but they didn't do that,
but zelda transforming to light dragon and sacrificing everything to help link in the future was very epic
and the final battle against ganondorf was probably one of the best finales in the series.
anyways, in conclusion, the game is 9.5/10
story = 7.5/10
gameplay = 10/10c
I will 100% recommend it, its easily one of the best games on nintendo switch
