Disappointing. Sad that Nicholas Cage took this role.

I just watched S1E1. Somewhat disappointed. I thought the acting was bad, and personalities a bit cheezy. Certain scenes made me cringe, for example, when the professor first arrived at the airplane hanger and was told that he couldn't approach the plane because there was unsafe levels of radiation. His response sounded like it was taken directly from wikipedia but copied wrong. He insisted on getting the radiation readings so that he could decide if it was safe but then went right up to the plane and touched damaged areas without ever getting the readings. The scene was intended to make him seem smart but it had the opposite effect.
