This is a wonderfully constructed series. The whole range of human emotions is explore; love, pathos, humour, burlesque, tragedy, heartbreak. The colourful setting in India; the music, the saris, the local customs, and festivals, all transport us far away from the grey settings of crime movies in the British dockland. What a treat!
