I work in healthcare and this movie, while quite predictable, is so on point. We look at medicine with such a steel eye at times when what the situation generally calls for is a) trusting the person in front of you, dr-patient/patient-dr, and b) laughter and outside the box thinking is how we find ways to not treat people like cookie cutter humans. We most certainly are not. I would not be surprised to get to heaven, talk with the real Hunter "Patch" Adams and find out it wasn't just medicine he saw that needed the out of the box thinking he brought to the Gesundheit Institute.
