“Night County” is a total disappointment. Executve Producers; Sam Beckman, Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson and Jodi Foster wildly missed the target .. no suspense, 150 miles north of the Arctic circle (aside from off camera Alaska footage, who can tell), the script is poor, the staging poor, acting average .. just boring. The best line is, “Who’s Mrs Robinson?” Too much focus on WOKE themes. John Hawkes is the evil “white guy.” The step daughter’s self porn video - really? The “fight” in the hospital - what a joke. No comparison to the 1st and 3rd Seasons. IMDb was originally 8.3. Now it’s a 7.1 but it’s barely a 6.0. An embarrassing step down for Jodi Foster.

I couldn't decide whether Gabby was naive or just stupid and why the movie seemed too slow but that was my own ignorance. I had to remind myself when I walked beside my own daughter during my visit and travels with her in East Africa and remembered how she would interact with the locals. It's amazing what kindness, honesty, patience and a little money in your pocket can do for the experience.
