I had high expectations for Regime and Kate Winslet as she took on the lead role and am left disappointed. The cast gave their best despite a thin script. The cinematography, costumes, hair, and makeup were stunning, although reminiscent of Wes Anderson’s style. Unfortunately, Hugh Grant was underutilized. The story seemed incomplete, leaving much to be desired, possibly due to editing issues. Despite the dramatic jumps in the plot, I will continue watching in hopes of improvement and to appreciate Kate Winslet's braids.
