I'm afraid I hated this series. Badly dubbed by overacting 'posh' English actresses with Benenden accents. It completely relies on the sets and costumerie for any discernable attributes. I couldn't see any real screenplay with a developing plot, just home counties voices with excessive volume and emotion. Netflix really seems to specialise in this type of historical drama without any real history. I thought maybe all these women are on speed? Do Netflix target this type of 'drama' at women, using an all female production crew?
