Seems to fill the emptiness left by Castle and Mentalist. Unfortunately, in 2020 a series that releases on a digital platform with a widely varied audience who belong to diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds, the absolute lack of awareness about the existence of any diversity especially in religion, since it seems to be basing itself mostly on a particular religion is a an overused trope, is a passé. The millionth re-telling of biblical tales and interpretations with no imagination whatsoever is not my cup of tea. Absolute lack of awareness about the world and various belief systems that could have been intelligently used in the content that is being passed around the world but alas it misses the mark. I get why people like it, but I did not find it path breaking, I found it to be very over hyped. An extra star for Tom Ellis.

Very monotonous plot. The visuals and performances are captivating but without a well structured plot everything falls apart. Could not watch beyond the second episode.
