Bela character not convincing as a child. Since you don't care about any of the characters not scary at all. I'm not sure the author has met any real people. Jump scares? Horror? Did I read a different book? I'm not going to even put this in a tiny library - I don't want anyone else to have to go through this. I need a refund plus payment for boring me out of my mind. Wouldn't have finished it but thought somehow it would get better. Spoiler alert - it doesn't. I'm hoping people are ranking it higher to be cool. There can't be people out there who think this is good.
