Compared with the 2004 film ‘ 5 Children and it’ this film is a weak remake. Characters are irritating, acting isn’t the best, some of the special effects are poor, and the story line failed to engage. Appears to be a low budget production. May appeal to a younger audience, we only watched it because we’d (unfortunately) purchased it expecting something similar to the 2004 production.
