This is an ensemble piece featuring all of Scorsese’s favourite actors, for me the standout performance was from Joe Pesci who if he came out of retirement to appear in this I can only say thank you, in fact the whole film is a masterclass in one way or another and totally worth the effort of seeing it through until the end.
