A great great take on the original Maula Jatt. It was hard to believe to see such a piece of art from Pakistani cinema. Making such a masterpiece with such budget (not comparable to the likes of Bollywood or Hollywood) yet giving the taste of the same standard. A lot of attention to detail.
Creating a fictional world that seemed plausible.
Hamza Ali abbasi, had done his home work and paid attention to the detail and did Justice to his character, paying homage to the original noori natt..
Faris khan as mooda made us laugh and made us cry and had the most authentic punjabi accent,
Fawad khan, could have had better dialogues, better appearance, he was good too.
Humaima malik had a captivating presence and did Justice to her character
Gohar Rasheed was the crazy brother, also did great with his role
Mahira khan should just quit acting after this!
Only problem I have is that they didn’t leave a cliff hanger for a sequel! This should easily be a start of a series. All the characters were grey!
Maula Jatt, the vigilante standing against injustice. Noori natt, the mad man who stood against injustice himself at a very young age and had some principles of his own behind that madness.
It left us craving for more.
Songs and dance that was added had a great artistic touch!!
Kudos to the team
