This movie is an excuse to take a very simple plot with all the tropes in the world and stuff them into a plot that is less than compelling. The characters are flat, stereotypical, and predictable. The plot doesn’t go anywhere. There is an argument that the filming is beautiful but it’s not enough to hold your attention if you are drawn to movies where the characters are central to the story.
