Salute is engaging, movie grows on you slowly. For sure anyone watching it will not leave before the end. DQ delivers it again. He is growing day by day as an actor. His portrayal of Arvind Karunakaran is too good. Be it body language, be it intensity on his face everything is bang on. After a long time loved a cop film which is showing police as police and not super human people. I loved the mystery in the story and climax scene.

Its always treat to watch R Balki movies. He is one of the directors who always brings something new on the table. Just loved the movie. Even though it did not have twist and turn expected from triller movie, but at no point one loose interest in it. The way song "Jaane kya tune kaha" and "yesh duniya agar mil bhi jaaye" were used was brilliant. What should i say about Dulquer Salman, this person always surprises. The way he has played the Danny is amazing, his dialogue delivery in hindi looks so effortless. I want to see him doing more movies in Hindi, but not sure he will get Scripts which are powerful enough seeing his body of work. Also, I would love to see him sing few songs in Hindi, he has nice voice. I love the song "mera Love main", it would have been so good if Dulquer himself would have sung that song. It was also refreshing to see Pooja bhatt. She really played "Brain Candy" (as she told in one of the media interactions). Sunny Deol and Shreya Dhanvantry were also good on there part.

Awesome movie. Not sure why filmmakers in Hindi does not attempt to make this kind of movies as are being done in Malayalam. May fav stories are Story of Siva and Story of Rudra. They actually communicated the element associated with them, Fire and earth. Siva's internal rage really matched the character of fire burning. amazing portrayal by Dulquer Salman , as most of the time in this story he is just communicating with expressions and no dialogues. He can speak from his eyes. Story of Rudra, the earth shattering truth reveled is bold and gutsy. The blank look and confusing emotions portrayed by Dulquer Salman are again bang on. This story also had most beautiful songs. I cannot get over Sita kanlayam song.

Watched this movie recently. Need to appreciate the vision of director to make a movie in format of Play. This is very refreshing and new at least for me. I am not Malayalam speaker and did not know about the book on KTN Kottur, hence for me everything was new in the movie. May be people will take time to settle in the format, but once you are in characters will take you to the magical town and life of KTN Kottur. All praises for Dulquer Salman for this bold choice and portrayal of KTN kottur that too in start of his career. He is one of the best actors around and seeing that this movie is 8 years old, it talks about his caliber.

I came across this movie by Chance and i am glad that i came across it. What a movie. and Charlie will not leave you even after you have finished watching the movie. Everything about the movie Acting, story, screenplay, music , visuals are par excellence. But its the mystery build around Charlie and the way Dulquer Salman has played Charlie stand out for me. I am glad that i watched this movie and got introduced to Malayalam cinema. its quintessential.
