Season 1 was good, if grim. Season 2 even better. It’s not as good as Mare of Easttown but I don’t know why everyone has to compare it to Mare, it stands on its own, lots of good performances and twists.

This show was always pretty dismal but the big events/threats in s1 and s2 kept it watchable.
S3 focussed more on Robert and Anna and it’s just not feasible that anyone would want this guy as PM. Anna could be PM. All Robert does is walk to the front of the room to watch the video of whatever’s happening and grimace and moan, What am I going do? What am I supposed to do? No wonder his family and colleagues are sick of him too.
Archie is entertaining as ever. If they make a s4 they should kill Robert off.
