Basic mediocre Film. 5/10 I never watched the first but was always tempted. This Film makes me think I didnt miss much. I dont remember laughing at all and the action wasnt good either. Goes along at a steady pace with reasonable dialogue (although im sure they reference things after 2009 that they wouldnt know about). Best part is the Bill Murray credit scene. Give this Film a miss look up that scene.

A passable action Film but not much more. Ang Lee wants to try a new visual medium with 120fps but fails to realise that the action sequences that can sell it need to be watchable. Fight scenes had great pace but were too dark with too many cuts and shakes (seems to be a trend nowadays). Chase scene has bad CGI and detracts from the thrill. Lingering close ups of people not acting and product placement almost made me laugh. With all this said there was just enough to keep me going. 6/10 could have been much better.

Pretty good action film, not the great film the first 2 are but its the best of the rest. 7.5/10. The action is great and keeps the pace up throughout. Some minor CGI problems in the smaller scenes but great CGI when it matters. There are a lot of call backs to the original 2 but they are subtle at times and not as in your face or cheesey as the last installment. This film even manages some humour which was a surprise. What holds this film back is the story not quite holding together, and dues ex machinas. This being said I would be optimistic about another film for the first time.

Great fun for me maybe not quite as simple and elegant as Snatch or Lock Stock. More complicated but still slick with a few little hiccups imo. 8/10 Fans of Ritchie's previous work Snatch and Lock Stock will see the similarities and should enjoy The Gentleman. Hugh Grant takes you through this intricate and well paced film but I wasnt a fan of the accent used. The story might jump about a little too much and might not be as simple or elegant as similar films but its not overdone or confusing. Its all brought together at the end in a satisfying way.

Tense and suspenseful but I wouldnt say scary or frightening. Well worth a watch. Not seen The Shining in such a long time I couldnt tell you how I feels about it. This kept me open minded and so this film felt fresh to me. Some call back visuals might put some off but didnt hold it back for me. This film feels like it opened up the world and explained some things. Never felt attached to the original which might be why I like this film, but also why I dont feels its an amazing film. 7.5 /10

Really well told story, great acting but nothing new in the racing action. 8/10 Went tinto this film fresh, not knowing anything about the events, characters or even cars in general. The film kept me engage throughout with strong acting from Bale and Damon. Bale in particular as he has the more colourful character. The Film doesnt get bogged down in specifics and lets itself move on, telling the story at a nice pace. A few funny and heartfelt moments sprinkled in also lift the mood. What this film does lack is some new racing action. The usual overtaking of all the cars when they need to and almost stationary opponents etc. Although nothing new it is all still well put together and still tense and thrillling. Maybe a predictable ending even not knowing the events on and off the track. Still a very well told and put together story with nice but familliar racing action. Great to watch.

A film that tries to be way too much than it should. Although there are redeeming qualities its too messy to pull off what it is trying to do. 6.5 /10 This film comes so long after Bad Boys 2 and it shows. Action scenes and comedy have moved on. The messy story is pushed forward by the action scenes which arent bad but dont flow very well. The comedy is funny at times but some is in the wrong decade. I did however find myself caring for the 2 main characters The film sets up more next time. I hope that this can be simplified and follow Mike and Marcus, instead of staying with the team of stereotypical and quirky characters.
