Best book of this year 2024 and must read category. The most wow factor moment during the journey of my reading this book was Mr. Ted Chiang part. I agree that where he had mentioned Applied Statistics could be the right choice of words instead of Artifical Intelligence as it is purely Mathematical fairness. However, that wouldnt ideally fit catchy in today's hyped marketing world. There are many books talks about the Big Tech and success stories of Tech start ups that turns into Unicorn. However, there are only few books written on the other side of the story. Code dependent is truly makes us visualise the shadow of AI. The most interesting about this book is that the author doesnt side with positive or negative of AI technology instead she had impressively balanced it by highlighting the impact of human lives and the future data colonialism. Mostly these sort of Non fictional story telling always leave the solution to the reader perspective and leave open end questions. Interestingly in this book the author ends with the solutions and thought provoking questions which ensure readers awareness of AI. I wish to read more future writings from Madhumita as her true nature of story telling is very effective and much needed for this generations.

This book makes you to think wisely.
