This movie had an AMAZING CAST! but the story was just not well written and needed more time Heres why.. There were so many unanswered questions. I wanted to understand more how this AI tech worked. It seemed too fast and simple. The writers should have explained it to us a bit more. Like how were the people connected? How did the 1 guy enter into it and talk to the AIs? How did the Bai Li AI become autonomous near the end? How did Park cut his hair so fast? Why was Bo Park acting all cool and partying right after he got out of the hospital the day before and was all shaggy and physically weak? How was the Bai Li AI related to Suzy? I forgot? Was there a connection? Bae Suzy and Bo Park carried this movie with their emotions. I wish Suzy had a stronger character arc and Bo Park as well. Most of the characters were kinda stagnant which is so frustrating since this was an amazing cast! There was not enough emotional transformation from beginning to end. The movie was getting good towards the end because the emotions from Suzy and Bo Park were getting high. The guy that went to the AI machine was kinda falling in love with the Bai Li AI but the writers didn't pursue that further. The acting from the grandma was very good! She was great! I feel the movie was probably not as great because you have to do so much in only 2 hours. It would have been very nice if this had been made into a 6-8 episode drama in order to have enough time for character development and arcs and explanations. This was an amazing cast. They just needed more time.

'Queen of Tears' was hands down the BEST drama I have watched!!! 🥹 [btw No spoilers here just my thoughts] I loved this drama so much! It is a MASTERPIECE DRAMA! It totally deserves to be the #1 drama in TVN history! You must feel this drama and get into it! DO NOT watch this drama if you are going to be on your phone doing work or scrolling on social media, Instagram or Tikok. This drama deserves your FULL ATTENTION. Really feel it and get involved in the story and the acting. There was a reason this was called "Queen of Tears," and that is because Kim Ji-Won is the Queen when it comes to bringing tears to your eyes! Kim Ji-Won and Kim Soo-Hyun are the best actors! They make you cry with their eyes. Literally. That is how good they are!! You basically cry in every episode after episode 1. They really bring out your emotions. The chemistry is off the charts. They make you feel very happy and then it all comes crashing down in betrayal and confusion and then it gets happy and hopeful again. So good!! You are left on the edge rooting for a solution, but it never comes. Things just get worst! The cast is also very supportive and very emotional. The family dynamics, problems, the love, the betrayal—it's all very real and very emotional. The soundtrack is perfect. It makes you cry at the perfect moments. The sound is very romantically mature, but full of emotion. You really cry 😭 towards the second half of the drama. The character arcs for the main leads develop very well, going from non-caring, frustrated, weak husband Kim Soo-Hyun and violently aggressive alpha female Kim Ji Won to caring, loving, strong husband who will do anything to save his woman and gentle, loving, vulnerable-with-feelings, supportive wife at the end. Beautiful. I saw the finale right when it hit a few weeks ago and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I was very happy and satisfied with the ending. This drama was so good and talked about massively on socials every single week.. That people were commenting on many sites like akp and IG getting lots of likes that they couldn't continue watching after episodes 13-14 because the drama was too much and they couldn't handle the emotional rollercoaster anymore... They just wanted to skip to the final episode when it aired because they were crying too much and people were going mental and getting really upset with what was happening to the characters. That is how good this drama was! Conclusion: I am Happy and very satisfied with Queen of Tears! You will be too. 🥹🥹🥹😭 I never write reviews, but when I do, its because its worth it!

This drama was a masterpiece! The leads Park Min-young, Na In-woo, Song Ha-yoon and Lee Yi-kyung delivered incredible performances. It was a thrill to see how the character arcs for each of them developed. I especially enjoyed seeing how Park Min-young grew from a feeble and all too trusting woman who ended up being taken advantage of and then betrayed by those who were supposed to love her, to a strong, capable and smart woman who will not accept the same poor fate a second time, who persists in finding a way to rewrite her future, and although not expecting anything for herself, yet ends up getting all the happiness she's ever wanted. I also enjoyed the acting for Ji-won's friend Soo-min played by Song Ha-yoon. I am not surprised she is getting a lot of recognition for her excellent acting because it was top level. She played the perfect example of a friend who pretends to love you and promises to always be there for you only to betray you in the end and take everything from you. I loved how the drama explained how Soo-min's hatred for Ji-won stemmed from her absent cheating father who never ever loved her and how it involved her friend Ji-won. Soo-min's character went from pretending to be innocent and caring in the first half of the drama to full blown murderer, her true self in the final episodes. I ended up feeling like Ji-won did in the end for her, just sad. Lee Yi-kyung who plays the husband is someone you find yourself really hating because of the way he pretends to love both women leads in the beginning of the drama but does everything he can to mistreat them when things don't go his way like yelling at them, pushing them, hitting them, chocking them, and finally trying to kill them. The guy is the worst husband. A nightmare husband. Na In-woo for me didn't go through the biggest transformation like the other 3 characters did, but he was still a solid choice for his character, being born into a rich family and heir to the company and being very reserved. He went from doing as he was told and living within the boundaries of society to breaking free and taking matters into his own hands, never afraid of protecting those he loves. He played the serious parts really well. He's good in giving off that serious, protective look and communicating his feeling through his eyes and facial expressions. You can tell he loves Ji-won without him speaking. As the drama unfolded he became more emotional and playful with Ji-won instead of being so serious. I wonder if he could have even been more so to add to his character development but who am I to judge. Marry My Husband kdrama keeps you on edge throughout! You find yourself rooting for Ji-won and want her to succeed in rewriting her future. 10/10 drama! (Review written on: 02-21-2024)
