The acting is good, but the plot is rather mediocre. The show completely fails to understand the premise of the original and what made the original one so interesting. Rather than being self-contained stories, they decided to make the whole season a single story that bleeds into real life in a way that's more like a poorly written horror film. It fails to capture what was so good with the original, which was a variation of stories, with different story tellers, and completely butchers the legacy of the Midnight Society. However, the actors did do a very good job with a mediocre script and sub-par plot. I look forward to the actors' future projects.
