Scales: Mermaids Are Real is one of the most inspirational movies of its time. If I hadn't discovered this movie, I wouldn't be the person I am today. The movie's selfishness and ugliness were truly emotionally captivating, and I cannot express my love for this movie in words that make sense. It is THAT good. Writing this review has made me utterly emotional. I could relate to Adam so much that it hurt, and sometimes I too wanted to be killed by hunters as the mermaids were going to. This movie has too much hate, and honestly made me not believe in the human race for a moment but thinking about the movie made me instantly jump back into a positive mindset. I have watched Scales over 100 times and every single time the movie experience has ended with me bawling my eyes out. I love this movie, 1000/10. 5 stars.
