Enjoyable, totally far fetched but that’s the appeal. No drama, nothing pc, pure escapism.

Excellent adaptation of the books. I felt the characters were very similar. This series could have had more backstory but that might slot in another series. My husband, who does not know the books, picked up on the storyline fairly quickly, and loved the series.
