I have no idea why Napoleon is made out to seem like this constant anxiety ridden fool who’s always on the cusp of a panic attack. Either Phoenix is putting it on too hard or he’s genuinely sad about how his historical character is inaccurately written. Napoleon was very charismatic, he had issues like all humans but faked it until he made it when it came to public appearances and combat. All around just off putting even for a dramatised love triangle story #10000. Director definitely has a chair in the corner of their bedroom.
