Muddy Kiddy

Its very much a 80s movie but it's very good. I especially liked the clowns themselves and the design language. There are seemingly no two clowns the same. Short, tall, lanky, stiff, fat, and colorful clowns with a creepy but creative style. The weapons used where also very creative, from popcorn alien guns to killer cotton candy wrap. Alot goes on in the movie but it doesn't loose it's clear plot. It has surprisingly good balance and pacing for its plot and runtime. Very much a worthwhile way to kill a couple hours with a makeshift alien popcorn gun!

This movie is an absolute nightmare its packed full of creepy, transphobic, and masoginstic views nobody should be exposed to. Firstly the old man character made me loose my apitie and I hate his character so much I'm pretty sure I hate him in reality. He is constantly being disgusting, and makes inappropriate comments to women and 2 under age girls. And look I get they were going for the creepy old man cliche but he is so appalling and vulgar I felt sick to my stomach multiple times. Secondly loud dosent make you funny the squeaky old lady voice was NEVER funny so it was unnecessary to have it thouout the entire movie! Thirdly there is no character direction whatsoever everyone in this movie is extremely unlikable if every character died in the end I would probably appreciate it the guys are horny creeps and the girls are clingy stereotypes of mean girls who are also not funny. All of the characters have the personality of sandpaper and it reflects painfully if I could take my time back I definitely undoubtedly would every time. This movie actively pisses me off and i think its literally the worst one I've ever seen in my life.

I think its realatiable and has some good jabs an jokes throughout. It has alot of people who are really in character and that suprised me for how solid this movie managed to be. Its a soild teen movie with decent characters invited throughout. However when the movie tries to get emotional it fails for me. Its a goofy awkward relatable movie why are we suddenly having an emotional moment in the middle? Why so abruptly? And why have characters be so much more complicated than if they just stuck to the comedic side throughout all of it in general . Overall though its solid not the best by far but not bad by any stretch.
