So I have been a Destiny since day 1. I was playing the Destiny 1 beta and thought it would be a great game. When Destiny 2 first launched as any veteran of Destiny I was excited. But all the hype and new story wasn’t meeting the expectations. Curse of Osiris was probably the worst DLC Destiny has put out. But when Warmind came things were heading in the right direction. In Warmind it introduces pinnacle PvE weapons like Sleeper And Whisper and the EP shotgun. I would say that when Forsaken came out the player base SKY ROCKETED. With all the new weapon changes and there actually being story what could go wrong? Gambit. Gambit was in my opinion pointless yes it may give some of the most powerful weapons but if you look at it in the long run, once people got gambit weapons they didn’t play gambit anymore. But when The annual pass was out people had a new hope and that was Season of The Forge. It brought new weapons new grinds a new raid it was beautiful. Then season of the drifter came out and was ehhh. (That’s really all I need to say for season of the drifter). But then Season of Opulence came out and was... AMAZING. A new raid amazing weapons the new 6vPvE was great and best thing is THEY SPLIT FROM ACTIVISION 🎉🎉🎉. Overall should you buy this game and is it worth the heavy price. Absolutely.
