I've already watched this for the third time and it still keeps on surprising me.
There were a lot of small details that I missed out on my first and second watch. And they just blew me away. Happiness was clearly well-written. I love how they connected it to the "end" of the pandemic. How it was no surprise that the government were able to somewhat take speedy action as soon as cases rose up. That every action didn't came out of no where. That it was logically possible.
Despite being a thriller drama, Hyungsik and Hyojoo's chemistry really shined. How they were able to create small build-ups in their characters' relationship and how the simple gestures and the slight change of tone made butterflies. It was just in the right pace.
I also love the character Han Taesok. It's a love-hate relationship with that character. But if you try to empathize with him, you'll understand where he is coming from. Which is what Yihyun also understood on the latter half of the series.
PLUSSS the actors of the supporting characters!! They played them so well T^T. I'm sorry that I really hate your characters (still there are characters that'll people will surely love) but OMG THEY DID GREAT.
Since it is kind of a "zombie" themed series, I'm sad that it didn't get as much attention as the other same theme series get. Maybe because it wasn't made available in Netflix before or probably because there was a sudden surplus of zombie themed series around the last quarter of 2021. But hopefully with its release in Netflix, it'll draw more attention and people will be able to appreciate this masterpiece.
