2018 and this is a really disappointing take on a movie, what more a horror movie. Many scenes are badly directed. Too many meaningless “possessions”, trying to capture audience’s hearts w the prayers. Where does Abuja and his crew practically reside and live their before-magic hour lives? Their motive and plot is really weak. Sakinah could even fight off and kill a few men on her own. In another scene, Adam (walks over and) attacks Abuja, and Abuja’s men just stand and watch. Yet another scene, Abuja as the group’s leader is the one doing the work and pulling Adam on the ground while his men walk freely behind. No logic. For all the hype, this is such a disappointment. 2018...don’t make a movie just because you got money. Make a good one.
