This movie provides an interesting insight into the “Incel” mindset. Did the movie have some flaws? Sure. I could pick apart a few of the technical problems in some of the aspects of the movie but I won’t because it would ruin certain plot elements for people wanting to watch the movie. To me this movie is what Del Toros “The Village” aspired to be in many ways. Personally as a man who finds the whining of other men who seem incapable of functioning around females to be disgusting this movie was fantastic. It showcased the failures of those men to perceive themselves in any realistic fashion, their failures to understand human connection, and their failures to adjust to a changing social dynamic in which their idea of what makes a man is becoming more and more diminished. Anyways I’ll leave it at that, thought the movie was great, I love to see all the incel men on these reviews raving about how bad this movie is because they can’t cope with their own reflection.
