The show is very well done. Is it EXACTLY like the animated series?? Of course not! Anyone who wants it to be EXACTLY the same should not bother watching it. It has a great cast and I like how they didn’t make Sokka as goofy as he was in the cartoon. Again, do they look and sound like the animated characters? Of course not, and if you’re expecting them to look and act like cartoons then you shouldn’t watch it. The show had a much more adult feel which I also liked. Netflix did a fantastic job with the effects, and CGI. They obviously had to take some liberties with the story, and even added some back story that was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire season and cannot wait for season two.
