Somewhat disappointed in the finished product. Acting is not great, story is ok, but historically inaccurate. No town had casual gunfights going on in the streets, back shooting of pick pocket kids, or constant brawls as depicted in this show. Elixer selling for $10 a bottle? (equal to $275 today)....c'mon, no one was buying a bottle of magic medicine for $10. $20 to stable a horse for a night? Ridiculous. Was this done because young people today wouldn't be able to comprehend selling something for 50 cents (the actual selling price of Clark Stanley's Snake Oil Liniment)? Even a moderate amount of research into the late 1800's would be welcome. The Wild West era is generally considered to have ended in 1895, so this is definitely nearing the end of that era. Highly unlikely areas of such lawlessness existing at this time. They already had railroad all the way to the west coast in this time period. Wagon train era ended around 1880, so this would really be a late occurrence, even for those unable to afford to take the train. Why didn't the group sell all that stuff they couldn't take with and then just take the train. Dumb.
