Great show...love the episodic X-Files vibes tied together with a central narrative and plot line. Acting is solid and the story is fresh and creative. Filmed and produced well too. I’m currently 8 episodes in and it’s really starting to heat up and take the shape I’d hoped it would. If this gets cancelled I’m giving up on Big network TV, too many good shows getting cancelled in search of the next Lost. There will never be another Lost. If you get decent to above average ratings these days then chances are you have a loyal and niche fan base (see X-Files). Those are the type of audiences that reward content creators through the good and the bad. Don’t overthink this one NBC...you have a good product here. Pick up seasons 2,3, and 4 before Hulu, Amazon, HBO, Apple or Netflix does. Where this show goes so do I.
