It was disappointing watching a high school production on an IMAX screen. The uninterested Aladdin couldn't move his audience in any direction. And what's more, Jafar had us unenthusiastically resting on the backs of our chairs. The dialogue was predictable and all too familiar.
Nevertheless, the costumes, traditional musical numbers, and close resemblance to the original story redeemed what it could from this production. I would give this film 5 broken serpent staffs out of 10.
I will still think of fond memories of Aladdin in its cartoon performance.
