It's great to know she was the puppeteer all along. That's the only thing that saved it for me. She knew Tedros would take down her Ex after she invited him over to have sex, but also that the experience would be humbling for Tedros. She gave Dyanne her song knowing she'd sign a contract that she'd be locked into for a very long time thereby keeping her from performing anywhere once Joss got the song pulled. That was payback for going behind her back and also for not telling her she'd slept with Tedros. She knew her management would ruin Tedros and then he'd come back to her with nothing and humble and knowing she was the one in power all along. She was the puppeteer. She had all these misogynists surrounding her and used it to play them and win.
That said, the lyrics of her songs and her performances of them are things that should not be released into the world. Women have worked too damn hard to get past that nonsense. The ending was too ambiguous and required depth of thought to understand, so small minded men are going to see this and not understand that she was the puppeteer all along. They're going to think that she wanted to be treated badly and came back for more by taking him back at the end. They won't get it and THAT is a problem. We just don't need that in today's world and for that reason, I hope there isn't a season two. We don't need more men behaving badly sanctioned on tv. Had they made the ending crystal clear for the slow minds in the back, it could have saved itself.
