One of the best movies I’ve seen based on a true story. It is gory, but I suspect real life combat, in WW2, was well beyond the movie. The main character deserved much more recognition, but,I again suspect, ‘Hollywood’ cannot celebrate anything of a religious nature.
Right up there with ‘The Green Book” for real life portrayals.
