If you really like political intrigue fiction, maybe this'll keep you going for a while. The trouble is though that Nadine is trying to sell this story as if its all true, and she's the savvy protagonist whose uncovered a cabal of shadowy elites that really run the U.K government and just off prime ministers at the drop of a hat... but for some reason are quite alright with Nadine unearthing and printing their secrets.
For those with the enthusiastic imaginations, Im sure this story seems plausible, I'm sure there's even a fair bit of truth in parts. But I think an honest and reasonable reading of this book has to conclude that this is almostly certainly just Nadines sad and bitter attempt at revenge on those who she percieves to have sleighted her or her hero, Mr Johnson.
The writing itself is decent. I think Nadine does genuinely have some talent. I can imagine myself reading this in an alternate universe and enjoying it somewhat... but it very clearly should be in the fiction shelves.
